Rolac Tablet contains Ketorolac Tromethamine 10 mg, a powerful NSAID used for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.
It is commonly used for postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and other acute painful conditions where strong analgesia is required. Due to its potency and risk of adverse effects, it is generally prescribed for short-term use only.
Ketorolac should be taken with food to minimize gastrointestinal irritation. Prolonged use is not recommended due to increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, renal impairment, and other complications. Always use as directed by a registered physician.
