Othera 20 Capsule (Delayed Release)

Othera 20 Capsule contains Esomeprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce gastric acid secretion by blocking the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme system in the stomach lining. The delayed-release formulation helps protect the active ingredient from stomach acid and ensures optimal absorption in the intestine.

It is commonly prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, gastritis, acid reflux, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It may also be used in combination therapy for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection.

Othera 20 is usually taken once daily before meals, as directed by a registered physician. Long-term therapy should be monitored carefully due to potential risks associated with prolonged acid suppression.
