Angilok 100 mg Tablet

Angilok 100 mg Tablet contains Losartan Potassium 100 mg, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that lowers blood pressure by blocking the vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II. This results in relaxation of blood vessels and improved blood flow.

This higher strength formulation is typically prescribed for patients requiring more intensive blood pressure control or those not adequately controlled with lower doses. It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and may also reduce the risk of stroke in patients with left ventricular hypertrophy. Additionally, it provides renal protection in patients with type 2 diabetes and proteinuria.

Angilok 100 mg is usually taken once daily, with or without food, as directed by a registered physician. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is recommended during therapy.
