Acifix 20 Tablet

Acifix 20 Tablet contains Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme system in the stomach lining. This leads to significant reduction in acid production and relief from acid-related symptoms.

It is commonly indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger–Ellison syndrome, and other conditions associated with excessive gastric acid secretion. It also aids in the healing of erosive esophagitis and ulcers.

Acifix is usually taken once daily, preferably before meals for optimal effectiveness. The dosage and duration should be determined by a registered physician. Long-term use should be monitored due to potential risks such as nutrient malabsorption.
